Capturing Your Child's Age Milestones in Portraits

child1Childhood Milestones can never be repeated!  Fortunately, Kenny Barnes Studio can capture these milestones for you with professional portraits, preserving them forever as cherished family heirlooms.

During the first year of your child’s life, physical changes happen so rapidly. Within months, they go from little newborns to active, curious toddlers, taking their first steps and getting into, well, everything!

At one year, facial characteristics begin to reveal family likenesses and individual personalities.  Still a baby, they take their first steps as their inquisitiveness grows daily.  Around the second birthday your child is beginning to speak, and is responding to others in new ways as they explore a world that is awakening before them.  Between the third and fourth birthday is a most endearing age for “little” boys and girls.  Their ability to speak and reason grows stronger every day as they find new ways to display their individuality.

At five years, they are off to school, permanent teeth emerging to change their facial contours.  Then at age seven, portraits of your child will begin to show the special interest that help to define who they are becoming through their sports, dance, music, or other activities.

child3When your child approaches twelve to thirteen, those teenage years when physical, emotional, and attitude changes occur.  During these years, portraits can capture your child’s sense of style and ever changing interest.

Now sixteen, childhood is all but a memory!  The boy is almost now a man, the young lady is now blossoming into womanhood.  While there is a still a lifetime of growing and learning to come, they will never again be a child.

With portraits created of these stages of your child’s life, you will not have to close your eyes to remember those memories, you can open your eyes and enjoy those times as you lovingly gaze upon your portraits captured by our studio.
